WHO I AM?
I'm Cris Odriozola. Mother, cook and lover of sharing moments with people around THE TABLE. Having children made me look for a way to dedicate myself to cooking in a different way. Continue enjoying it without all my energy being solely on the stove. That's why I had to reinvent myself. I started doing workshops because I always liked teaching the values of cooking, what it can contribute and how much it can do for us, for our health in general. With the birth of my second son, I continued doing workshops and opened a new line of product being a private chef.
WHAT DO WE DO?
The objective at LA MESA is to show our clients that they can eat healthy and in a fun way. Enjoying different colors, flavors and textures. Understanding that eating well does not have to be a punishment and that it is precisely this fun that will make taking care of yourself last over time.
HOW DO WE DO IT?
Every day we have a breakfast menu that includes wholemeal toast, toast with sourdough bread and top quality fresh products. Among other options with fruit, such as our well-known homemade granola.
There are a series of toasts that do not vary and new weekly proposals to enjoy products that are 100% seasonal or to satisfy those who visit us the most and want us to surprise them with something new.

At noon the dish of the day reigns for those who are in a hurry (we are located in a worker area). Although as we always say, for those who enjoy the most, who have time, there is a simple menu with our star dishes. From a quinoa poke with marinated salmon and kimchi sauce, to our patatas bravas with aioli foam or our famous steak tartare with a very delicate spicy sauce.
